Shatrughan Sinha, a Bollywood legend, recently shared an incident from his childhood at an event. He said that when he was around two and a half years old, he was staying with his mother and sister at his uncle's house. One day, when his uncle had to leave urgently, he left his shaving razor outside. Little Shatrughan saw the razor and tried to shave his sister's face with it, but instead ended up cutting her cheek. He then tried to shave his own face, and the razor ended up cutting his own forehead.

When the family returned and saw the injury, they did not take him to the hospital or get him stitched up. Instead, they applied ash from the stove to stop the bleeding. As Shatrughan grew up, the scar on his forehead became a source of embarrassment for him.

However, later in life, he started working in movies and realized that his scar was unique and gave him character. He learned to embrace it and not feel self-conscious about it. He also shared that a piece of advice from actor Dev Anand had helped him change his perspective on life - "It's not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters."
