In this video, I break down the only camera settings that truly matter if you want to stop overthinking, simplify your workflow, and focus on composition, light, and storytelling instead of menus. Filmed at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, I share how I set up my cameras—including the Sony a7RV and Leica M11-P—using auto modes, practical ISO limits, fixed white balance, black-and-white previews, and turning off image review to make digital photography feel more intentional. These settings work on almost any camera and are especially useful for travel, landscape, and everyday photography, helping you shoot more efficiently and enjoy the process again.
