Traditional assessments don't always capture the full picture of adult learners' progress. With the rise of AI and web-based tools, educators now have powerful ways to document learning, track growth over time and celebrate success. This IPDAE Tech Tuesday webinar highlights practical strategies for using AI and digital tools to monitor and support adult language and literacy development. Participants will explore best practices from educators across Florida aligned with the 2025–2026 Florida Adult Education Curriculum Frameworks. They will also learn how to use data and feedback strategies to identify learning needs, inform instruction and recognize progress at every stage.

Apply best practices from the field for integrating educational technology tools that align with learners’ goals, needs and standards-based instruction. Implement alternative assessment strategies such as portfolios and progress journals to demonstrate learning over time.
