N E A L...!!! Raging speed lick from an otherwise lame song, part of an even weaker 'Trail by fire' Journey reunion album but with a good solo from Mr.Schon.
Well, every Neal solo is a good solo actually.

However, in this case I only wanted to do that one furious run:
managed to play it but with these signature Neal speed licks you gotta give yourself some leeway, meaning you have to allow yourself some 'interpretational freedom' i.e. not trying to reproduce every note exactly but ballpark, with the emotional fury being a more decisive factor than the actual notes. And that's difficult as it is because these runs are so ingrained in his fingers, it's like they've become part of his DNA!
