We discuss in this video different types of IPv6 addresses.
Global Unicast address: Similar to public IPv4 and these addresses are globally reachable or routed.

Unique Local Unicast address: These IPv6 addresses are like private IPv6 address and they are not globally reachable or routed. Unique local addresses must begin with hex FD which is their identification.

Link-local Address: A unicast address only valid within a local network segment or subnet
Anycast Address: these are address shared by some nodes or routers to provide shared are collective service to the clients. Client can get that service from any one of the router, close to it (economically, by distance or by something else) configured with Anycast address.

Solicited Node Multicast address: This IPv6 address is used in NDP which has replaced ARP protocol of IPv4.
