When direct messages fail, can stories be used to create connections?

In 2014 I worked on a project without knowing that this project would give me the best story for my story repertoire.

After I finished the project, I made my way back to the airport and the urge to document the story was so high that I decided to pen it down in the waiting lounge of the airport.

I was fortunate that my client gave me the permission to publish the story. The story went on to garner so much love that when I would return to work in the same organisation as my client who told me the story did, people who I was meeting for the first time would tell me the story and often end it with, I am not sure where I read this story:)

When we decided to start #thankgoditsastorysaturday series, this was the first story I recorded but you would have never seen it because just like all my other work, you see it when I am ready to share it. Before that, it is me and my desire to be better at my craft.

Today I work on topics like, Cyber Security, Business Resilience, Machine Learning, Plaforms, RPA and AI but the learning in the story applies.

Make sure your correct makes connect via stories.
