The march was organized by Robert Bakiewicz, the leader of the Independence March Association.

Right-wing groupings participated in the event.

A petition to restore control on the Polish-German border was handed over to Prime Minister's Office.

The participants of the march oppose the creation of integration and asistance centers for immigrants in Poland.

UPSOUND (Polish) Robert Bakiewicz, speaking at the rally: "Today we are filing a petition to Prime Minister's Office to immediately restore controls on the border with Germany, this is something extraordinary that Germany does not respect Schengen, that Germany closes the Polish border and that the Polish state, Donald Tusk together with Trzaskowski, opened widely the border for an illegal migration, for Muslims, for the people that Germany wants to get rid of and throw them out of the country, something that was the mistake of their migration policy."
