Suspended SLAB Construction Process

Описание к видео Suspended SLAB Construction Process

What is a suspended slab. What information we need before we even jump on it. Why the GA drawing is the most important for us engineers. How to correctly set the level for the deck and what are the most common formwork systems used on sites.
Suspended slab⬇️⬇️
Not in contact with ground and typically with formwork needed.
GA drawing⬇️⬇️
shows us the building layout, grid lines. We will see there steps, beams, dropheads and the slab thickness. THK. The GA is a starter for us really and then we will be completing information from sections and details.
Slab soffit level⬇️⬇️
at this point the most important information from the GA is the slab level and the slab thickness so we can calculate the soffit level. If there are any steps, or beams we have to check the soffit too and mark for chippies areas of particular drop.
Decking type⬇️⬇️
once we know the soffit level we need to know how our slab will be supported during the pour, so what type of formwork will be used.
Most popular⬇️⬇️
Peri classic multiflex, skydeck system, Titan classic, HV system, Hunnebeck table formwork.
Setting the laser level⬇️⬇️
As we know the soffit and our decking system we know what level to set for our chippies. Obviously we need a datum for it and this we should already have on the columns and if not, that would be the first step (in the last video I will tell you about must do things after the slab is poured)
