17 paintings. I barely made it out alive *chill art vlog

I admit I'm a little behind. This was the last full week of July and my last week of the plein air painting class I take for fun in the summer. I really did have a great time despite constantly being in class, touching up work, doing homework or driving to different locations. Some how it was still a beautiful break from the monotony of the studio and I'm feeling inspired.

It was an ending that faded out, and maybe that's a good thing, and will propel me forward to new work and paintings. For now though I am resting, catching up on tasks for future plans and the like.
In the past I probably would have wiped out after 8 weeks of painting and not known how to get back into things. But at this point I focus more on the process and things tend to move along better. Maybe quiet endings are okay. As they leave more space and energy for beginnings.
