“Spremuta” is the Italian word for freshly squeezed juice, and it is LIFE-CHANGING 😍

⬇️ Here’s what you need to know ⬇️

🚨 Unlike “succo” (bottled juice), spremuta is made fresh to order, usually from oranges (spremuta d’arancia) or grapefruit (spremuta di pompelmo).

🧃 If you’re visiting a juice shop that sells many types of juice, you will need to specify what type of “spremuta” you would like

🍊 BUT, if you’re visiting a normal cafe or restaurant, you can simple order a “spremuta” and they will know that means fresh squeezed orange juice!

🎉 You can find it at most cafés, bars, and even some restaurants—and once you try it, you’ll never go back to regular juice again!

How to order:
🍊 Ask for “una spremuta d’arancia” if you want orange juice (or “vorrei una spremuta per favore” - “I would like a fresh squeezed orange juice please”)
🍋 Ask for “una spremuta di pompelmo” for grapefruit (or substitute other fruits if you are at a juice shop/spot with a large fresh squeezed juice menu)

⚠️ If you use google translate to order “orange juice,” it will give you “succo d’arancia” as the term, but that is NOT THE SAME THING as fresh-squeezed orange juice (spremuta). If you order “succo d’arancia” you will receive a bottled orange juice like Tropicana, etc.
Cost:💶 Expect to pay around €3-€5 at a bar or café, but trust us—it’s worth every cent (and WAY cheaper than in the US)
