Beef Sukka is a very delicious dish that leaves you craving for more. I have prepared this dish just like the way my mom used to prepare it for us. I haven't roasted the ingredients before grinding, but have fried the masala after it is ground. Also in this recipe we do not roast the coconut but is used fresh.

Meat :
Beef - 1 Kg (cut into medium pieces, clean, wash, add salt , water 1l4 cup and pressure cook till meat is cooked)

Ingredients :
Grind to a thick smooth paste adding little water :
Corriander - 1.5 tbsp Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Mustard - 1 tsp Pepper corns - 12
Kashmiri chilli 5 Dry red small chilli - 4
Turmeric pwd - 1/2 tsp Onion - 1 medium
garlic - 4 cloves Fenugreek seeds - 1 pinch
cinnamon stick - 1/2 inch Cloves - 4
Tamarind - small ball

Method:
Add 1 tbsp oil to a heated utensil.
Add few curry leaves
Add 1 sliced onion and saute till it turns lightly golden
Add the ground masala and fry till the raw smell of onion and garlic disappears
Add the masala water and mix
Add the cooked meat along with the broth if any and give it a mix
Add 1 large potato cubed into medium pieces ( this is optional)
Cover and cook till the potatoes are cooked. Add a little broth or water to adjust the gravy if it is too thick.
Adjust the salt and add tamarind water if required (to balance the taste)
Finally add 6 tbsps of freshly grated coconut. Mix well.
Cook for 1 minute and turn of the flame.
Serve with roti, chapathi, Naan, Sanna, Apam, dosa or just rice. Enjoy !!!!
