The estate sale wasn’t over yet… Day 2 turned into a full-blown Pokémon auction, and it was INSANE.

This auction featured rare Pokémon video games and vintage Pokémon cards, including some of the most sought-after collectibles in the hobby. I ended up winning Pokémon Box on the Nintendo GameCube for $1,100 — a game many collectors consider the holy grail of GameCube titles.

Beyond my pickups, the auction prices were wild. A sealed Neo Genesis booster box sold for $13,000, and a binder filled with original rare Pokémon cards sold for $16,000. While I didn’t buy those items, watching them sell was unreal and shows just how strong the Pokémon market is right now.
