今回は1980年にリリースされたABBAの『The winner takes it all』をカバーさせていただきました。

この曲は2008年に公開されたミュージカル映画『マンマ・ミーア』の劇中歌で、ABBAﾌｧﾝの人気投票でも必ず上位に入るヒット曲です。

私はこの曲は子どもの頃から知ってはいたものの当時は好きになることはなかったのですが、最近親しい人から「この映画を観ていないということは人生１００％損しているってことだよ」と勧められて「それは大変だ！」と「マンマ・ミーア」をレンタルして観たのです(笑)
ストーリーはこれから１００％損している人生を取り戻す方々のために語りませんが、とてもHAPPYな気分になります♪
でも唯一といってもよい切ないシーンで主演のメリル・ストリープがこの曲を歌いあげます。
私は一瞬でこの曲とこのシーンに引き込まれてしまいました。
ストーリーを知って聴くとこの曲の良さがとてもわかります。

ABBAのアグネタが感情豊かに歌うのを聴くのももちろん素敵なのですが、私はメリル・ストリープが歌うこの曲に心を鷲掴みにされました！
さすがは世界を代表する大女優、お見事です。

ということで今回のカバーはABBAというよりも映画「マンマ・ミーア」の『The winner takes it all』と思って聴いていただきたいと思います。

This song is from the 2008 musical film "Mamma Mia," and is always one of the top hits in the popularity polls of ABBA fans.

I had known this song since I was a child but never liked it at the time, but recently someone close to me recommended it to me, saying, "If you haven't seen this movie, you are missing out on 100% of your life." "That's a big deal! I rented "Mamma Mia" and watched it.
I won't tell you the story for those who are going to get back their 100% lost life, but it makes me feel very HAPPY.
But in the only sad scene that I can say, the lead actress Meryl Streep sings this song.
I was instantly drawn to this song and this scene.
The song is very good when you know the story and listen to it.

Of course it is wonderful to hear Agnetha of ABBA singing with so much emotion, but I was gripped by this song sung by Meryl Streep!
She is indeed one of the world's greatest actresses, and she is brilliant.

So I would like you to think of this cover as "The winner takes it all" from the movie "Mamma Mia" rather than ABBA.
