Strikers 1945 III / Strikers 1999 Arcade - X-36 (Warlord)

Character: X-36 (Warlord)

Full arcade playthrough using X-36
X-36 is a secret plane that can only be accessed via the random "?" logo if you are lucky.
Fortunately, some of the arcade machines have maintenance code set such that players can access it via a button.
When booting the game up in MAME, press F2, then go to Maintenance code and press the code: "01999".
This will allow players to choose X-36 easily by pressing Up on the Joystick after selecting the "?" Random Selector.
X-36 has been kept as a secret plane, and because of that, many assume it is definitely the best playable plane. Whilst it is true in most situation, I beg to differ.
X-36 overall looks like a remodeled modern era version of XF5U Flying Pancake in S1945 II & S1945 Plus because of its homing laser sub shots and the extremely powerful laser that it shoots out of the plane along wherever the plane travels as a charged shot.
However, I dislike the fact that the bomb is rather weak, probably weaker than F-117 Stealth and that one cannot use the charge shots along with the bomb. Also, the bomb invincibility doesn't really last long. It takes so long for it to transform into a robot and then later transfer back when the bomb is nearly done, which is rather useless to protect itself from the enemy fires.
Not as if it is part of Optimus Prime and its Transformers gang is cool -.-lll
And I really have difficulty clearing the final boss with 1 credit because of its weak bomb. The bomb is seriously pathetic. Other than that, yes it is the best plane overall for most situations.

Note: This was intended to be a no death run but after several attempts, I gave up and aim for least death and credit run possible, 1CC (ie. 1 Credit Clear). It is definitely impossible for me to clear this game without getting hit.
Moreover, I couldn't exploit all the bosses weakness at ease. I probably could still take advantage of the bomb invincibility for stage 3 & 4 but it also means I have 1-2 bombs lesser for the final boss. It really depends on my luck of the random order stages for the first 4 stages as sometimes I could do this trick to get the technical bonus for the bosses without using bombs on stage 3, but stage 4 is definitely a 'no' for me.
As for the bosses from stage 5 all the way to 7, they will expose their weakness much later. It will be ideal to wait for them to expose but I cannot afford to as I will lose more lives instead.
Also to take note that most people believe that Cross Blade is an easier boss in Stage 6 over Geo-Bite.
To ensure you are fighting against Cross Blade, stay at the middle of the screen, over the center of the three ejection tubes. The ejected tube will be based on whichever tube that is closest to you depending on which side of the screen you are at. The center ejection tube will always contains Cross Blade. The other two tubes will contain the harder Geo-Bite.
What's worst is I have to admit save states are abused throughout the games, but of course you viewers don't get to see it unless you are observant enough to see or hear it to know when did I abuse the save states. :P
There is also some unknown error prompt when encountering final boss.
And to be frank, I can play the mobile phone version on hard at ease. This arcade version of the game is still crazy even though on easy mode.
