In a world torn apart by a catastrophic event, New York City lies in ruins, with a mysterious technological structure looming ominously in the sky. In this grim future, a lone figure known as Hawkeye keeps watch over the decimated city. As he observes from his vantage point, a young woman approaches a partially intact building.

Guarded by sentries, the building's entrance opens, and without hesitation, Hawkeye unleashes an arrow, taking down the guards in an instant. As the first one falls, his partner reacts too late and meets the same fate. The young woman witnesses the swift and deadly action.

Hawkeye motions for her to stay back as he stealthily enters the building, evading patrolling thugs and the surveillance system.
