History of Mulgaon Universal Sri Sri Durga Temple.
Approximately 1960, there were no temple in Mulgaon, worship was very less, during that time many people of Mulgaon village started Durga puja. From that time, Durga puja used to be held at one place one year. Durga puja was performed in different houses year after year. And everyone in the village participate in that Durga puja. This is how many years pass by. Incident after 29 years, time 1989– Sambhunath Dutta donated some land to mother Durga. Since then the name of the temple became Mulgaon Universal sri sri Durga temple was not so advance at first. Later, that temple is gradually developed. The temple was restored in 2013. And a Naat temple, Krishna temple is established. Loknath temple, Kali temple and Shiva temple etc were established in 2018 by spending 9 lakh 63 thousand taka. On 19th February 2021 a Geeta Education centre named Partha Sarthi Geeta Shikkha Niketan was established to provide religious education to small–small students. Now every year Sharadiya Durgotsav is celebrated happily in this temple.
