In Nashville, Tennessee, Aaron Banister recorded the special moment he proposed to his now-wife whilst on a flight.

Aaron prepared a fake emergency checklist ahead of time, which he had her read as the plane approached the right location.

He informed his girlfriend that something was wrong with the plane and asked her to read out the checklist, which she soon discovered was fake.

He then instructed her to look to the field below, where he had spelt out ‘Marry Me?’ on his friend’s farmland.

Aaron presented the ring to his girlfriend, who enthusiastically agreed to marry him, as she sobbed with joy over the prospect of becoming part of his family.
