It's time to take the next step forward!

Yep, it's my birthday! And on this special day I decided to give you all a gift! This remix is of what I'd say is my favorite song, xStep! I played Geometry Dash for quite a bit back in 2016 or so, and it was the first game I ever made a username for (Alex being my name, xStep being my favorite song, and 8 being my lucky number, therefore, AlexStep8. I know, it's corny.) Since then, I've had that same username for every platform I'm ever on!

I know, making a remix for a different game is COMPLETELY out of left field because most of you watch me for my Friday Night Funkin' content, but I still hope you enjoy this regardless! I plan to do remixes from other games as well, but I still have plenty of FNF remixes in mind as well! (And yes, the Killer remix is still on its way, matter of fact it's the next one I'll work on)

Thank you all for watching my content, and for watching this special remix too! It's thanks to you that I continue to make music, and I hope that any future project I work on is supported just as much as the rest of my content. Here's to an amazing 2026! ^ ^

Geometry Dash is a horizontal runner-style game developed and published by RobTop Games. It was released for $1.99 USD on 13 August 2013 for Android and iOS, and for $3.99 USD on 22 December 2014 for Steam. A lite version of the game is available on mobile devices with fewer features, as well as free expansions, Geometry Dash Meltdown, Geometry Dash World and Geometry Dash SubZero, which include exclusive levels.

The player takes the form of different entities with unique mechanics such as a cube, a ball, and a UFO. Using one-touch gameplay, the player must try to navigate through a series of interactive obstacles, movement-shifting transporters and behavior-manipulating portals to reach the end of levels without crashing, all while listening to exciting music along the way.
