The issue with conventional dentures is if you don't have the right anatomy and if you don't have the right bone structure, the top denture falls down. In addition to the extent or the extension of the top denture, in order to try to get retention, it goes down the back of your throat, causes gagging. Those are the two main problems that we see with upper dentures.

Lower dentures, they're shaped like a horseshoe. You cannot get suction on the bottom because of the shape of the arch. Plus the tongue is down there. How do we resolve these things? With the upper denture, we put implants into the arch.

We snap the denture onto the implants and then we take the plastic that's on the roof of your mouth. We take that away so that, you know, there is no gagging anymore. You don't need that part of the denture for retention because your retention is coming from the implants.

On the bottom, we put implants on the bottom and then the denture snaps onto the the implants doesn't move. Doesn't matter. You're not interfering with your tongue. You're not interfering with the geography, with the anatomy. Things are stable.
