For the FREE grommet placement template and cinch tab pattern piece, you can download them here: https://lindshandmade.com/collections...

The only changes/addtions from the original pattern is you'll need to cut out the main body liner pieces the normal width but shorten them to only 11" high and cut 2 interior accent pieces in vinyl/cork/leather the same width as the liners by 2½” high. Cut one drawstring out of the vinyl/cork/leather 1"wide by at least 36" long. Cut 2 vinyl/cork/leather for the cinch tab using the pattern template, glue them wrong sides together and stitch the perimeter the same way we do the d ring connectors in the pattern. Then transfer the rivet markings and punch the holes.

If you prefer to use measurements over the template and pattern piece, no problem. For the cinch tab, cut it 3¾” wide by 1¼”h and round the left-hand short edge. Then just use your drawstring to determine where to sew, or to punch your rivet holes. For the grommet template, starting in the center, measure down 1” from the folded edge and mark 1½” to the right and left side of your center (there should be a 3” gap). Then from the new marks placed, measure 2½” away on both sides and place 2 more marks. Repeat with the last 2 marks 2½” away from the previous marks. There will be a little over an inch left before the side seam on each side. Repeat with the backside. You should have 12 total marks with 6 on the front and 6 on the back.

-I’m using water resistant canvas from Moremeknow for the exterior that unfortunately is not in stock ☹and their Deep Sea Blue lux metallic vinyl here: https://moremeknow.com/collections/fa...
-The interior is a water resistant canvas in “Berry” from Wonderground Fabrics: https://wondergroundfabrics.com/colle...
-"Made to stand out” sew-in label exclusive to the monthly label subscription from SewingBlurbs.com
-I’m using the Fairy Floss sewing String in tex 80 from Geeky hardware: https://geekyhardware.com/collections...
-The ⅜” grommets I’m using here are from Tandy Leather and come in a 10 pack (you need 12 total, so get at least 2 packs. I suggest grabbing 4 packs so you can have enough for 3 bags and have a couple left over for any oopsies or to practice on.) Here’s the link to those: https://tandyleather.com/products/sol...
