Madurai Adheenam pontiff Desiga Paramacharya has accused the MK Stalin led DMK government of corruption amid the row over Tamil Nadu's Chidambaram Nataraj temple. The allegations came even as officials carried out an inspection at the temple. A few days back, the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department (HR&CE) had served a notice on the committee of Sri Natarajar temple in Chidambaram Temple seeking all details related to revenue and expenditure, audit reports, and bank passbooks from 2014 and submit them before a committee scheduled to inspect the temple on June 7 and 8.
