August Seed Starting for Fall/Winter/Spring Garden | PNW Zone 8b

Hi Friends, I cannot believe it is already August!! This year has gone by so fast.

In this video, I talk about seeds to start in August- for harvest in multiple seasons. This is because August is a wildcard month heading into the period of slow growth and we descend into winter. Aside from quicker growing greens, it is going to be hard to get a fall harvest with seeds planted in August. The good news is that the crop may be available in winter or spring instead. In this video, I break the seeding lists up into 2 parts- by mid August and all of August. Ultimately, the weather of the August you are in, and your microclimate, will determine what is the best for seeding. When in doubt of what to seed, just go for it. :)
