Artiste multidisciplinaire, Moridja Kitenge Banza s’exprime à travers la peinture, la photographie, la vidéo, le dessin et l’installation. Sa démarche artistique se situe entre la réalité et la fiction, moyen par lequel il interroge l’histoire, la mémoire et l’identité des lieux où il habite ou qu’il a habité en lien avec la place qu’il occupe dans ceux-ci. Kitenge Banza confond intentionnellement réalité et fiction afin de perturber les récits hégémoniques et de créer des espaces où le discours marginal peut exister.

A multidisciplinary artist, Moridja Kitenge Banza expresses himself through painting, photography, video, drawing, and installation. His process is situated at the intersection of reality and fiction, a lens through which he questions the histories, memories, and identities of the places in which he has lived in relation to the positions he has occupied while residing there. Kitenge Banza intentionally confuses fact and fiction to problematize hegemonic narratives and create spaces wherein marginalized discourses may flourish.
