We are completely enamored with the new the Alamo Music Patrick James Eggle guitars. Our first three Macon modes; one carved top and two semi-hollow models are truly stunning. There is a fit and finish that surpasses most manufacturers with an insane attention to detail. They also manage to be both modern and vintage feeling at the same time. The obvious question is how does it compare to the "holy grail" of Les Paul style guitars - the OG Gibson 59' Les Paul. For this comparison we used Chris' personal Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul VOS to see how the big brand custom shop compares to a boutique Patrick James Eggle Carved top Macon.
