In TEDxUdine Nove Muse abbiamo indentificato nuove nove muse ispiratrici del futuro: Consapevolezza, Arte, Musica, Linguaggio, Ironia, Legami, Identità, Sostevivibilità e Conoscenza. Questo talk rappresenta la musa dell'Identità.
Cosa significa sentirsi parte di qualcosa di unico? Per i Resiani unicità è sinonimo di identità. Un’identità forte e consapevole. Per secoli essi si sono sentiti diversi dagli altri e guardati con diffidenza e sospetto, estranei al contesto geografico. Eppure, il loro unico desiderio è sempre stato quello di sopravvivere in pace e armonia con gli altri. Hanno mantenuto le loro radici integrandosi con le comunità con cui hanno convissuto nei secoli e che hanno incontrato sul loro percorso, apprendendo molto anche da questi ultimi. Nell’era moderna, consapevoli e forti della loro identità sono felici di condividere la bellezza della terra adottiva e del patrimonio culturale di cui sono portatori. Il messaggio che vogliono dare al mondo è proprio questo: non avere timore di essere ciò che si è, esibirlo, ma non ostentarlo, e rispettare le altrui diversità. Solo accettando ed amando la propria identità è possibile essere cittadini rispettosi e desiderosi di conoscere e amare il bello che si nasconde nella diversità del mondo.

In TEDxUdine Nove Muse we have identified nine new inspiring muses of the future: Awareness, Art, Music, Language, Irony, Bonds, Identity, Sustainability and Knowledge. This talk represents the muse of Identity.
What does it mean to feel part of something unique? For the Resians, uniqueness is synonymous with identity. A strong and aware identity. For centuries they have felt different from others and looked upon with distrust and suspicion, extraneous to the geographical context. Yet their only desire has always been to survive in peace and harmony with others. They have kept their roots by integrating with the communities they have lived with over the centuries and met on their path, learning a lot from them too. In the modern era, aware and strong of their identity, they are happy to share the beauty of the adoptive land and the cultural heritage they bear. The message they want to give to the world is precisely this: do not be afraid of being what you are, exhibit it, but do not flaunt it, and respect the diversity of others. Only by accepting and loving one's own identity is it possible to be respectful citizens and eager to know and love the beauty that is hidden in the diversity of the world.

Amministratrice del comune di Resia dal mese di giugno del 1999, è consigliere di minoranza.
Per oltre 15 anni ha svolto il ruolo di Assessore. Una delle esperienze che le ha dato più soddisfazioni è stata la responsabilità e gestione dell’Ecomuseo Val Resia. Resia è un piccolo mondo antico.
She worked in the hospitality and tertiary sectors until she joined the Julian Prealps Natural Park where she held the role of administrative employee. Administrator of the municipality of Resia since June 1999, she is a minority councilor.
For over 15 years she have held the role of Councilor. One of her experiences that gave her the most satisfaction was the responsibility and management of the Ecomuseum Val Resia.
