There are many videos from professional plein air painters on what to pack. As an amateur painter, I wanted to share with you what I pack for my next plein air workshop in England including my new Box N Paint standard pochade, their paint storage for oils, their watercolor palette with the watercolor paint storage for plein air. After reviewing their web page (below) and comparing with many others, I bought their products, and I can immediately see how this will significantly reduce the weight I carry on my back every day. The materials are sturdy, and the design is compact and light while allowing the painter to have the paint set up and just open the box and paint during each plein air session. The key in Box N Paint pochade is their paint storage that allows you to avoid having to bring all tubes of paint.
