NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA (October 21, 2006). A little more than one year after Hurricane Katrina, riding on New Orleans' scaled-down streetcar line from the downtown Riverfront area.

The end of the video features a shot of the (then) stature of General Beauregard and news clips about its subsequent removal a decade later in the name of Marxist appeasement.

In this video, New Orleans is still in rough shape.

Still, hats off to the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority for being able to get these cars back on the tracks and the service (such as it was) reopened.
