Join me as I go trick worm bass fishing in a Florida retention pond in the Sanford area. In this video, I fished a retention pond next to some warehouse buildings at 12:15PM and 5:20PM. I managed to get quite a few hookups and pulled in some bass that were between 2 and 4 pounds!

I've found that fishing with Zoom Trick Worms seems to work well in the winter when the bass fishing slows down. My summer baits (like the Zoom Ultra Vibe Speed Worm) don't work as well and the bass prefer something different in the colder months. Aside from trick worms, the 1/4-ounce Rooster Tail spinner baits have also done well for me in the winter.

I seem to have great luck with the Watermelon Seed Green color when it is overcast outside. I rig them up Texas Style, weedless on a 3/0 Extra Wide Gap hook.

P.S. I Love my new GoPro Hero 11 action camera! It has a horizon lock feature that keeps the horizon level even if you tilt the camera around 360 degrees in a complete circle. Amazing! I had my GoPro about 20-degrees crooked on my hat for the last half of this video but it recorded the everything absolutely level! :)
