In this series we explore a new indie game each week made by indie developers on the look out for hidden gems. This week we are sitting down with Solaroids by solo developer Chad Yates. This is a lovegame to Asteroids from back in the day, lots of similarities, but lots of improvements, you could easily call this a spiritual successor!

This looks simple on first impression, but the developer has put a lot of care into the smaller details, with different types of damage acting and behaving differently to one another, and periodic damage to friends and foe alike! Solaroids is also up to 4 players locally, with leaderboards!
