In the 5th of my Dark Souls 3 Lore Series we look at the Gertrude the enigmatic figure who birthed the heretical Angelic Faith. There isn't a lot of lore in game for this story, however in this video I look at what we have and pull it apart. I look at environmental and design aspects - from all these factors I will explain how I believe Lothric was torn apart by Civil Strife between the Three Pillars and this religion.

Of course a lot of this is my interpretation, because there is so little lore, so feel free to disagree and debate.
