Welcome to another edition of the progressive rock & metal albums review series and today i am going to be taking a look at a 2023 release from the best band to burst onto the scene since Porcupine Tree & one of the best to come out of Poland. They're one of my all time favourite bands from the progressive rock genre, the one and only, Riverside.

'ID. Enity' is Riverside 8th studio album and marks the band's first studio recording in 5 years to feature new material since 2018's 'Wasteland', they've had a couple of lineup changes with the current lineup comprised of bassist / vocalist Mariusz Duda, drummer Piotr Kozieradzki, keyboardist Michał Łapaj and guitarist Maciej Meller who is the newest member replaces original member Piotr Grudziński who sadly passed away in 2016.

'ID. Enity' is a double album and very different to previous Riverside recordings with a much more laidback sound that features pop influences while still retaining all of the classic hallmarks that have made Riverside one of the most popular bands of all time which shows that they're not afraid to try new things. One of Riverside's strongest and best albums to date.
