WHAT A GAME! It was all Seattle through the first half of this game, getting 3 early runs on Yankees' starter Jonathan Loaisiga, before getting 2 more in the 5th off of Chasen Shreve. Loaisiga only lasted 3.2 innings, giving up those 3 runs while striking out 4. Felix Hernandez started for the Mariners, going 5 innings, giving up his 2 runs in the 5th on an Aaron Judge single scoring Aaron Hicks and Miguel Andujar. Heading into the 8th, the Yankees were trailing 5-3, but Gary Sanchez came up huge, hitting a 2-run shot tying the game off of Alex Colome. Just as it appeared that the game was going to extras, Didi Gregorius hit a 2-out single in the 10th off of Ryan Cook, and then Giancarlo Stanton ended it on a walk-off 2-run shot to win by a final of 7-5. James Paxton faces Luis Severino in the series finale tomorrow, what should be a fantastic game between these two aces.
