In 2024, Javed Butt, brother-in-law of renowned Lahore underworld figure Tifi Butt, was brutally murdered — an incident widely believed to be the aftermath of Ameer Balaj Tipu’s killing.
An FIR was registered against Ameer Masab and Ameer Fateh, brothers of Ameer Balaj Tipu. While pre-arrest bail under Section 109 was earlier confirmed for Ameer Fateh due to lack of evidence, the situation took a dramatic turn when both Ameer Fateh and Arif Bhatti absconded.
Recently, Ameer Fateh resurfaced, obtained pre-arrest bail, and joined the investigation. However, a powerful Special Investigation Team (SIT) — comprising senior officers from Lahore, Raiwind, Gulberg, Model Town, and Ichra — declared him guilty based on investigation findings.
On 24-12-2025, the accused failed to appear in court. Despite hearing detailed arguments from defense counsels and DSP Qammar Abbass (SIT member), the court reserved its decision and fixed the next date for 03-01-2026.
This case has now become the talk of Lahore.
