"We Don't Say NO Well" a film by Braap Babes. This is a video that has been in the works for a while, a side project that us, Braap Babes have been working on all winter season long. Our winter started late December 2019 and was cut short at an abrupt stop middle of March 2020 due to Covid-19. We put on many meet ups throughout the Sea to Sky corridor at local shops this season, such as Greater Vancouver Powersports, No Limits Motorsports, Backcountry Motorsports and Revolution Powersports. We hosted three social rides at Coquihalla Lakes, Rutherford in Pemberton and our BlackTusk Snowmobile weekend Retreat in Squamish BC. During these meet ups and social rides, we have met so many women who are just as passionate as we are about snowmobiling and the whole reason why we started Braap Babes is to connect women for women and sharing the stoke and passion we have. In this film, we have captured just that. Bringing women together, building a community and sense of belonging while raising funds for our charity rides for Snowarama BC - an Easter Seals fundraiser for Children with disabilities. Our season may have been cut short, but we are still working hard to bring you more meets ups, more rides and more content for next season. Thank you so much to everyone who believed in our project and have shared so much love. This project would not continue with out your support. Huge thank you to Samantha Watts, Jessy Poirier, Ira Nenilina and Hayley Auld for the commitment and time into this season. Thank you to our sponsors who have helped us tremendously because without them, Braap Babes project would not have happened this season so we are forever grateful for them, Greater Vancouver Powersports, CKX Gear, Revolution Powersports, Kutvekmerica, Backcountry Motorsports, Amsoil INC, No Limits Motorsports, and Cheetah Factory Racing. Another huge help was our videographers for our film Cedric Landry and Kenneth Edwards, Thank you! Our photographers that came out to our social rides, Lesley Maskell Photography and Michaela C Photography, Thank you! And most importantly Thank you to all of you who have attended our meets ups and/ or social rides. It is people like you who motivates us to continue on what we are doing. Our project for Braap Babes might change the seasons to come but we are thrilled, excited and motivated to continue on spreading the passion and stoke while empowering women to get out and ride and build confidence and explore areas with friends while supporting your local snowmobile clubs. One last thank you goes out to BC Snowmobile Federation, BlackTusk Snowmobile Club, Pemberton Valley Snowmobile Club, Powder Mountain Snowmobile Club, Coquihalla Lakes Snowmobile Club for allowing us to use your areas for our charity rides and supporting us in every way possible.
