This was a 5-day 4-night backpacking trip on the High Sierra trail from Crescent Meadow to Precipice Lake and back in Sequoia National Park. We had lots of wildlife sightings, beautiful flowers, waterfalls, and even experienced a scary lightning and thunderstorm. The trip was about 44 miles total with about 8700 feet of climbing. Before starting the trip we visited the General Sherman tree, and after the trip we visited the General Grant tree. The date of the backpacking trip was from August 8th to August 12th, 2023.
