I’ve barely scratched the surface of Overwatch… so I did NOT expect this.

Today I’m reacting to “Recall,” the iconic Overwatch animated short, and as someone who’s basically an Overwatch newbie, this was a full-on lore wake-up call. Characters, emotion, worldbuilding — suddenly I get why fans have been obsessed with this universe for years.

This cinematic completely recontextualized Overwatch for me, and now I’m left with way too many questions about the story, the heroes, and what I’ve been missing all this time.
