‘아폴로18’ 보컬&기타리스트 최현석의 새로운 솔로 프로젝트 ‘CHS’로 컴백! 첫번째 싱글 [땡볕(Too Much Sunshine)] 발표.
충격적인 데뷔 EP 3연작으로 2009년 EBS SPACE공감 ‘올해의 헬로루키 대상’, 2010년 한국 대중 음악상 ‘올해의 신인상’을 수상하며 등장했던 밴드 ‘아폴로 18’의 프론트 맨, 기타리스트 최현석이 긴 휴지기를 끝내고 솔로 프로젝트 ‘CHS’로 새로운 음악 실험에 나선다.
’CHS’는 첫번째 싱글 [땡볕(Too Much Sunshine)]을 시작으로 여러 동료 뮤지션들과 함께 매달 새로운 작업물들을 발표할 예정이다. 이번 싱글에는 전국비둘기연합(기타 김동훈, 드럼 박영목), 노선택(노선택과 소울소스, 베이스), 김나언(구남과여라이딩스텔라, 건반) 이 함께하여 원테이크로 녹음하였으며 데이빗 보위, 아케이드파이어, 테임임팔라, 존메이어 등 세계적인 뮤지션의 음반 마스터링을 맡은 뉴욕 스털링사운드의 ‘그렉 칼비(Greg Calbi)’가 마스터링 엔지니어로 참여하였다.
