Honey Garlic Chicken Wings with Apples (Air Fryer or Oven)

These honey-garlic chicken wings are juicy, flavorful, and perfectly caramelized — with a little twist: roasted apple pieces that make them irresistible! 🍯🍗🍎

Ingredients:

3 chicken wings (cut into drumettes and flats)
1 tsp soy sauce
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp olive oil
1 small apple, diced into small cubes
1 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)

For the Honey Garlic Sauce:

2 tsp honey
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions:

1️⃣ Marinate the wings:
In a bowl, mix chicken wings with soy sauce, paprika, garlic powder, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Let marinate for about 1 hour.

2️⃣ Cook the wings:
Place wings in the air fryer basket and cook at 350°F (180°C) for 20 minutes until lightly golden.
You can also bake them in the oven at the same temperature.

3️⃣ Add apples:
Add the diced apple pieces between the wings and cook for another 5 minutes so the apples soften and caramelize slightly.

4️⃣ Glaze the wings:
Mix the honey, soy sauce, and garlic powder to make the glaze.
Brush the sauce over the wings, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and cook for another 15–20 minutes until golden and sticky.
