For September's Parkinson's Care Partner Meetup, we were delighted to welcome back Dr. Mark Mapstone. Dr. Mapstone is a neuropsychologist who conducts research and provides clinical care at UC Irvine.

In this video, along with our meetup panelists, Dr. Mapstone discusses the importance of care partners both "being the rock" for their person with Parkinson's and also living their own lives honestly and openly. Other topics discussed during this meetup include managing the challenges of executive dysfunction, reminders about the value of exercise for care partners, and Dr. Mapstone's words of caution around medications (and supplements) that are promoted as being helpful for cognitive function.
