Here’s a little peek behind the scenes at how my handmade leather butterflies begin. 🦋
This is the part no one usually sees... preparing the leather, running it through my die-cut press using the custom die blocks I designed myself, and cutting out all the shapes that will eventually become my butterflies.

Every wing shape, every size, every layer… they all start here. Tiny pieces, large pieces, full wings, half wings, layered wings... all organized and sorted before I ever pick up a paintbrush.

These aren’t mass-produced templates or generic shapes.
Each diecut was created from my own drawings, made specifically so I can design any butterfly species I want, from the simplest silhouettes to complex 3D gallery-style wearable art.

And when each butterfly is finally complete, it’s placed in a keepsake display box... a little frame you can hang on the wall, just like real butterfly specimens… except these ones are painted by hand and made to last.

This is just the beginning.
More shapes, more species, more dimension... thousands of new wings on the way. 🦋
