The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has decorated a newly promoted Assistant Comptroller General (ACG) as part of merit-based advancement to streamline reforms in the sector.
Speaking at the decorations in abuja, Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) Kemi Nanna Nandap, who described the promotions as well-deserved, noted the exercise was a mark of acknowledging their hard work, exceptional dedication and commitment to serving the nation especially at management cadre.
She praised the Minister of Interior Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo for working tirelessly to see the promotions through and also commended the officers and men of the service for their loyalty, sacrifices and the support given to them.
She therefore charge all newly promoted officers to rise to the occasion and give their best, adding that the Service is on a transformational path, embracing innovations that align with global best practices and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
