The written instructions for this shawl are:

Cast on 9 sts.
Set Up Row 1: K2, kYOk, k3, kYOk, k2 [13 sts]
Set Up Row 2: s1-wyif, k1, YO, k9, YO, k1, s1-wyif [15 sts]

Body
Row 1: K2, kYOk, *k3, YO, s1-k2tog-psso, YO; rep from * to last six sts, k3, kYOk, k2 [4 sts inc'd]
Row 2: S1-wyif, k1, YO, purl to last two sts, YO, k1, s1-wyif [2 sts inc'd]

Repeat Rows 1 & 2 until the shawl is desired size. Bind off using a stretchy method. Block assertively to crescent shape.
