It's the next morning and James didn't get Ste the drugs he wanted. James gives Ste some home truths and tells him the only way for Ste to stop feeling like he is, is to confess. Ste asks James for one thing - to let him score before going to the police - and James goes to buy drugs from Kane. When Leah and Lucas return home, Ste apologies to them and is about to tell them what's happening when James arrives home and stops him. James later tells Ste that he won't go to the police or get him drugs because he can't live without him, and instead he's sorted it and Ste doesn't need to worry any more.
