Serum is a futuristic, first-person, survival open-world game where an unknown liquid takes control of your life. Extract Serum to stay alive, battle dangerous creatures, solve puzzles, and uncover clues about past events.

This game makes several questionable design decisions.

Continuous Serum Injection… Requiring players to inject serum every 2-5 minutes to survive.

This game lacks a map, and the location markers are confusing.

Poor Controller Implementation… with the on-screen cursor moving sluggishly in the inventory menu.

Blocking actions only function for about 1 second, requiring precise timing.

There is no pause feature available in the single-player mode.

Occasionally, a UI glitch occurs where the instructions or tutorial interface becomes stuck on the screen and cannot be closed or disabled. Lastly, an auto-save glitch can potentially corrupt players' save files.

This is an Early Access title, and I do not recommend purchasing it at this current stage of development.
