This session, aimed at freelancers, reveals how the filmmakers behind Atomic People captured the powerful memories and lived experiences of some of the last remaining 'Hibakusha', the only people left on earth to have survived an atomic bomb.

Nearly 80 years on from the momentous and devastating bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, this landmark film explores the human fallout from the first – and last – time nuclear weapons were used in an act of war.

Speakers: Megumi Inman (Producer and Co-Director), Otto Burnham (Editor), Benedict Sanderson (Cinematographer and Co-Director), Morgan Matthews (Executive Producer) – join a panel discussion about the making of their latest feature documentary, Atomic People.
