Sonic and Tails ATTEMPT their first Pokemon Soul Link Nuzlock!

GAME: Pokemon Fire Red (Sonic) + Pokemon Leaf Green (Tails)

🔴ONE CATCH ATTEMPT per Route. If one or both players kills the Pokemon, neither players keeps one!
⚪If there is a lake on the route, FISHING is allowed to be a separate route encounter from the ground/grass encounter.
🔴If you find a Pokemon you already own, you do not HAVE to catch it. You can move onto a different Pokemon to catch as your first encounter. (So you don't end up with an entire team of PIDGEY)
⚪Encounters for Players on Each Route Are LINKED: If both players successfully catch their FIRST ENCOUNTER on the route, those two Pokemon may be kept, and are soul-linked.
🔴SHINY POKEMON CLAUS: If either player finds a Shiny, they may attempt to catch it as a Bonus Encounter, and the other player can also get a bonus encounter to match it (bonus encounter for the other player is the first pokemon they find, as per the usual rules)
⚪SOUL LINK RULE: All Pokemon have a soul-linked partner on the other player's team. If one of them dies, THEY BOTH DIE... (ouch)
🔴SAME-TYPE RULE **NOT IN PLAY**. (This is usually a rule saying players cannot have the same Pokemon TYPE linked on their teams, but we're not gonna use that one unless we do another run with a randomizer lol)
