Maruti has been selling 100 Altos every hour from the last 22 years and if Alto became a separate company this will be the 4th largest Automobile company in India. Alto is not just a car for Indians but this became a family member for every single family in India. Either you are rich or middle class Alto has made its space at everyone’s garage for the last 22 years. Alto holds a very large legacy and every one has at least once driven this beautiful small hatchback. Now Maruti has again come up with the new designed Alto K10 which they discontinued at the time of Espresso’s launch. As Espresso could not achieve what Alto has achieved in such a long time – The Name and Sales numbers so Maruti again gave a chance to their best player in the league. 

New Maruti Alto K10 has all new Facia and has a new feel in it. This new Alto K10 has more space and has some new convenient and Safety features like 7 inches touchscreen Music system with four speakers and android auto & apple car play, Steering mounted Controls, Digital Driver display and speedometer, Front two power windows, Parking Sensors, Dual Airbags (Driver and Co Driver side) and Anti lock Braking System with EBD.

Engine & Transmission 

The New Alto K10 comes with a Next Gen K-Series 1 litre engine which has dual jet and dual VVT. This Engine delivers the maximum power of 66.62ps @5500rpm and peak torque of 89nm @3500rpm. The claimed fuel economy of this Car is 24.90km per litre with the Auto Gear Shift (AGS) and 24.39km per litre with its 5speed Manual transmission.

Variants & Colours 

The New Alto K10 still has one variant called Standard which might come with black bumpers and without power steering and the cost of this Variant is 

Rs 3.99/- Lakh (Ex showroom). 

In Manual Alto has three more Variants which are :-

LXI – Rs 4,82,000/- (Ex showroom)

VXI – Rs 4,99,500/- (Ex showroom)

VXI+ – Rs 5,33,500/- (Ex showroom)

Alto K10 Auto Gear Shift (AGS) has only two variants :- 

VXI – Rs 5,49,500/- (Ex showroom)

VXI+ – Rs 5,83,500/- (Ex showroom)

New Alto K10 has Six Colour options among which three are previous colours – White, Silver and Grey but now Maruti has introduced three new colours in Alto K10 – Sizzling Red, Speedy Blue and Earth Gold.

Accessory Packs for Alto K10

Maruti has given two different accessory packs with New Alto K10 which are Impacto & Glinto. Both the packages have pre decided accessories which one can opt with the car.

The Impacto has Front and Rear Skid plates – colour accents, Wheel Arch cladding, body side moulding – black, Door Visor – Smokey Grey and ORVM cover.

The Glinto has Front grill chrome garnish, head lamp and Tail lamp chrome garnish, door visor with chrome garnish and Door sills – Chrome.
