Antwerp-Luchtbal is a station situated in the north of the city Antwerp. This station is served by 3 stop trains and 1 InterCity service each hour. The station itself has 6 tracks, but only 2 are used by passengers. It is however located on 2 importand lines, which are Line 12 and 27A. Line 12 is the convential line to Essen (B) and Roosendaal (NL). Just after the station there is also a branch to the Highspeed Line 4. Line 27A is an important freight route to the port of Antwerp. So this station sees a lot of different train traffic, from freight to domestic and international trains.
