सुभाष पवार हे बेलवडे ता.पाटण मधील प्रगतशील शेतकरी आहेत. ते मुंबईत ड्रायव्हर म्हणून काम करत होते. वडिलांचे निधन झाल्यामुळे त्यांनी आपला प्रवास गावाकडे केला.गावाकडे येऊन शेती करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला. आणि शेतीत वेगळा प्रयोग करायचे ठरविले. पहिल्यांदा झेंडूची फुले लावले परंतु त्यांना नुकसानाला सामोरे जावे लागले. त्यानंतर त्यांनी मिरचीची लागवड करायचा निर्णय घेतला . जवळजवळ 75 गुंठ्यात त्यांनी मिरची लागवड केली.
