Quick and Easy Seal Rescue

Another quick and easy kayak rescue for the books. Compared to the sometimes tricky and lengthy rescues, easy rescues give us a chance to regroup quickly and rescue more entangled seals. This bright orange piece of net is not the usual fishing ghost gear we find so often. This piece of plastic net was very likely used to protect cargo or produce. Any plastic has the potential to entangle and kill marine or land-based animals. To protect our wildlife, we have to find and demand eco-friendly options for packaging.
